flash-kernel-installer software package provides Make the system bootable, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install flash-kernel-installer
flash-kernel-installer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the flash-kernel-installer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep flash-kernel-installer *
You will get with flash-kernel-installer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
